What We Count

  • Words: Sequences separated by whitespace
  • Characters: Total character count including spaces
  • Sentences: Text segments ending with . ! or ?
  • Paragraphs: Text blocks separated by line breaks
  • Reading Time: Based on 200 words/minute average
  • Speaking Time: Based on 130 words/minute average
